ALC has used these and other programs like auctions and music nights to raise funds to meet our budget in the past.
Recently, due to our small size and meeting primarily in homes or on ZOOM contributions from the congregation have funded our needs.
Scrip – this program is on vacation
Scrip is ALC’s way of generating extra income on purchases that we already make. You can support ALC with your weekly shopping and gift giving by pre-purchasing a gift card for the store you want. You get full value, and the church receives a percentage from the store! Scrip orders are collected on the first and third Sundays of every other month and sent to the Tigard-Tualatin School District’s Scrip Service Center. Orders are then ready for pick up the following Sunday. For your own needs, and for gifts of all kinds, our Scrip program has a wide variety of merchant gift cards for both small and large purchases. Treasures Table – this is on an as needed basis
The Treasures Table is where our own attendees bring items they’d like to pass along to someone else, and others can acquire the items with a small donation to ALC. If you bring clothing or items, please take them home that day if they do not sell.
